Nicole Tucker Ingram - Enterprise Bank 

1. How many years have you been in business and what inspired you to start/purchase/work with this business?
I have been in the banking industry for 13 years, and before that, I was an accountant. It was a fluke as to why I landed in the banking industry. I had moved to Colorado and couldn’t find a job with my resume because it was about who I knew and not about my resume. So I took a job at the bank as a teller, receiving 3 promotions within 6 months, and continued to work my way up.
2. What is your background and how did you develop your skill set?
As I said, my background is in accounting, but once I entered the banking industry, it became second nature. I moved back from Colorado and started in Treasury Management, then became an assistant manager at a retail branch, then a Branch Manager, and lastly, a Business Development Banking Officer.
3. What has been your biggest success to date?
My most significant success would be the trust I receive from all my clients, prospects, business partners, and centers of influence when doing business with me or referring me. Whenever I receive a call when someone has referred me, I view that as a success.
4. What has been your biggest challenge?
The economy has been a considerable challenge, but the biggest challenge for me has been the saturated market with many banks in our communities. I overcome this challenge by showing our value add and what I bring to the table along with what Enterprise Bank & Trust brings to them and their businesses, as well.
5. What inspires you to hit the ground running each morning?
I love the challenge of each day and the unknown. Even when I have my calendar filled for the day, or I have a meeting with a prospect or a client, all that can change instantly. Navigating the waters and making the best of everything is a challenge I love to do daily.
6. What’s an interesting fact about your business that most people don’t know?
People often have a misconception that banking is boring. However, I never have a dull day ha ha! In all honesty, I love my job because I get to meet new people every day and hear their stories. I can cultivate my new and older relationships The sky is the limit, and I get to show my clients and business partners they, too, can take their business to the next level. To me, that is not boring. :)
7. As someone doing business in Arnold, how does the Chamber help you?
The Arnold Chamber has been a massive help to my business. I have met some incredible people and businesses while being a member. Many members and I have had 1:1 meetings, and the networking has changed with more opportunities to get to know each other. The resources and support have been top-notch. Overall, the Chamber has been a valuable resource for my business.
8. When you’re not working, what is your favorite thing to be doing? 
I love to spend time with my family and go camping. We love the outdoors, and when we have any “off time” on the weekends, you will find us in our camper or on the lake having fun jet skiing, kayaking, or swimming. Being outdoors is something special to me.
