Arnold Chamber of Commerce Announces 5 Scholarship Recipients for 2009

Arnold, Mo-June 24, 2009
Five area students have been chosen to receive the Arnold Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Award for 2009. The Chamber grants scholarships to graduating seniors who reside in the Arnold, Barnhart and Imperial area. As a result of fundraising efforts held by the Arnold Chamber of Commerce scholarship committee, each student received a $750.00 scholarship award to be used for studies at an accredited college or university.

The scholarship recipients for 2009 are:
Melissa Alan-Imperial
Nathan Anton-Arnold
Nyssa Carmody-Arnold
Nicole King-Imperial
Sarah Nugent-Imperial (Not Pictured)

The students received their award from Chamber President, Tom Dixon on June 16th at the Chamber luncheon. The Mayor, Ron Counts and State Representative, Sam Komo along with all other area business owners were on hand to congratulate the recipients.

This years Scholarship Auction will be held on November 13th, 2009 at the Arnold Recreation Center. If you would like to make a donation or have any questions please call Kelly Feldmann at the Chamber office 636-296-1910. Make a difference and help change lives in our community.
